(Thanks too Object for this report)

Hey man, how are you doing. I know this e-mail is was delayed, but I wanted to get a better grasp on things, and have a fuller report when I sent this message.

The good news is not only do I have some bug reports, but I also have a great idea I think can be implemented in game.

As for the bugs, I've seen spelling mistakes here and there, nothing big. Something though that is big is at least one of the items bought from the southern smith does not have any damage. So my 55gp starter viking sword is actually better then the 1000gp viking axe I bought from the southern smith.

Also there are little issues with fishing, each time you fish and don't catch anything, you get the "Try to fish again" message 4 times. Just a little spammy, I'm not sure if you can fix this or not.

As for skill ideas though, I'll list the skills I haven't raised yet, so you understand what I don't know about yet: Thievery, digging, HL Mining/Smelting, gathering, brewing.

I'll run down my skill list and make any comments or suggestions I have for each skill.

Mining/Smelting: I have this idea about adding new craftable weapons and armour. I've chatted with Daddio and denorc, and I've noticed theres basically 3 qualities of equipment, store bought, craftable, and quest rewards.

This is similar to most other games, but the quantity of craftable equipment in this game is pretty low. I think we should move a few of the store bought items (maybe every piece bought at the southern smith) up to being craftable only, and most of the quest rewards down to craftable only as well. Then create a new set of "Power Items" that are only from high level quest rewards.

I can go into great detail about this idea, but I just wanted to give you a taste, see if you liked this idea, then I'll go into great detail with it.

Woodcutting and Magic Cutting: I wanted to incorporate these two skills into crafting certain items. Basically make basic wood cutting planks the ingrediants for smelting bows, and doing something really funky with magic woodcutting. I wanted to make a 60+ potion created from using alchemy that is a equipable tool. Then when you used this equipable tool (probably name it Solvent) in a specific skill spot on magic cutting logs they turn into a stackable version of those logs. (name the item Heart of (wood type), or Essence of (wood type).

Fishing/Cooking I like, it has a purpose for hp and mp restoration, the only issue I had with it I noted earlier.

Alchemy I would like to see more 60+ potions, I mentioned an idea for one earlier.

Well this has been a long e-mail, and as I've said I haven't said everything that was in my head. As you can see the skill ideas mostly focus on an expansion of the crafting system.

I'd also love to see a new invasion of the main city, triggered by when a new player completes the tutorial and enters the garden for the first time. Have rats spawn out of the various sewers staggered around the city.

Also I'd like to see the tutorial redone, remove the signs, and make cut scenes similar to when you sail and you see the page length message in between the islands.
New players aren't reading the signs most of the time, so I think we need to teach them by force so to say.

Yup, that was a nice idea back in the day. Maybe I'll implement it one day.
